Several new radio handbooks have been uploaded to the download system archive in the radio textbooks category.

The new uploads include the elusive special 11th edition from 1947.

Thanks Brian, you're doing a great job. I'm also very grateful for all thse early copies of Radio magazine that you put on the old AM Forever website. Some of the 1934 and 1935 ones nicely filled in gaps in my collection. I love those old magazines and the R/9 ones from before they merged in 1936. As you might imagine, they're very difficult to find here in the UK.

Check the New Downloads and see if any of the 186 issues will add to your Radio Magazine collection ;)

That was the first real rig I worked on in 1963. I helped the engineer change the mod iron. It was a day time station. When we got the new xfmr in place, we fired it up into 4 X 250 watt light bulbs mounted on a board in the ceiling. Ah...the good old days ! I think it may have been a -1M. I think it still sits in the building attached 970AM.
