Cool Cw app

    I maybe the only one here that's into CW found this cool little site for CW practice. The coolest feature is the ability to select the type of CW key from paddles, straight keys, and bugs with varying fist ability's. Back in the 70's when I was learning CW it was AMECO records or W6QIE on 3.590 from San Fransisco for CW practice that was it. Things sure have come along ways in helping out the fledgling CW op learn his trade these days.

    "Straight Key Horror" was painful to listen to.

    What's funny about that is I've actually worked guys before that sound like that yes very painful to the ear. Back in the 70's when one heard a drifty, chirpy cw sig 9 times out 10 it was a Russian station those guys all sounded the same, come to think they all had the same mailing address as well box 88 Moscow.
